CHECK LIST for PUPPY APPLICANTS
Step by Step check list for puppy applicants
STEP ONE: PUPPY APPLICATION
This is your first step. Once received someone will reach out within 24-48 hours for an intake phone call. This is an interview phone call as well as your opportunity to go over question you might have. The call will take about 15 minutes.

STEP TWO: PLACE A DEPOSIT
Deposits can only be placed after the intake phone call. We want to make sure a puppy is the right fit for your family.
You can submit a deposit via ZELLE or BANK WIRE or WESTERN UNION (out of country only).
Any fees associated with placing a deposit are at the applicants expense.
ALL DEPOSITS ARE $500 AND ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
ZELLE
Zelle is a bank to bank transfer. Most major banks and credit unions participate in zelle. Zelle is built into your online banking so you can access it from your banking app or the website. This is typically a FREE money transfer service if your bank partners with zelle. You can also download the ZELLE app and link your bank . Zelle will take the money from YOUR account immediately. We, on the receiving end, will not see a cleared payment for 1-5 business days. Because of this we do not confirm payments same day. We send out deposit confirmation and welcome emails once a week on a set paperwork day. Please do not contact us multiple times asking us to confirm the payment - it is not helpful. Our main priority is the dogs and the family so we have to stick to a schedule for all business related inquires to stay organized. Please screen shot your zelle confirmation for your records.

BANK WIRE
Bank wire transfers are a good way to send a large amount of money quickly. You will need to send us an email request for our Bank Wire information.
Western Union
We try not to utilize Western Union very often for a few reasons. But if this is the only option (international clients are limited) then you will need to contact us directly for instructions. You can not exceed $1000 increments as our Western Union pick up centers typically can not distribute more than that per transaction. Western Union payments require us to go somewhere to pick it up. It is usually a minimum 20 minute round trip. This will get added onto out of state/international clients fee for service time - use sparingly.

STEP 3: DEPOSIT AGREEMENT
Deposit agreements must be completed within 24 hours of placing the deposit. Best practice is to submit the deposit and the immediately complete the deposit agreement, regardless whether your puppy has been born/selected yet. You will also need to complete the transfer agreement form so you know how requesting a transfer works. Please protect your deposit by submitting the deposit agreement in a timely fashion!!

If you havn't done this already this is a MUST. We load SO MUCH CONTENT daily onto the IG. We will NOT email/text photo updates. We only post to IG (and our personal FB group, but IG is must more active). You will be IN THE DARK if you don't follow on IG for the 8 weeks puppy is with us.

Our IG stories are really helpful and you will get tons of photos, videos, and education. We encourage you to make a puppy instagram as we will tag a puppy insta over the 8 weeks that puppy is with us. We do not tag personal IG accounts. If you don't know your puppy's new name just make a silly puppy insta name to start up the account. Change the name later.

STEP 4: The Personal Reference
We require one personal reference when you are applying for a puppy. The personal reference form is done after the intake phone call and puppy deposit.

This reference can not be your romantic partner/spouse. They can not be your child/minor. They CAN be a parent/family member/anyone else who knows you.

Please make sure they can speak English as we follow up with a phone call in most cases.

STEP 5: VET VERIFICATION FORM
We require a vet form from your prospective vet. This form is to be completed once your puppy/litter has been born. If you are placing a deposit on a FUTURE or UPCOMING litter that has not yet been born please wait sending this to your vet. In that scenario we will let you know when to send this to the vet

This form to help us ensure your puppy will have an accessible and responsible vet once they leave our house. The first puppy visit is within 3 days of pick up for a wellness check. The second is at 12 weeks old for their puppy boosters and growth/developement. The third is at 16 weeks old for final boosters, rabies, growth and development. As you can see..... Puppies need regular check ups. This will help US feel more comfortable on YOUR commitment to your new baby's health.

I suggest calling the clinic and setting up a NEW PUPPY exam (set the date within 3 days of estimated pick up) and asking them for their email address so you can send this verification form. Since this form is ONLINE it should be easy peasy. We reserve the right to verify responses with the vet clinic

SPAY/NEUTER: We do not support early sterilization at 6 months. The ideal vet will wait until sexual maturity has been reached before sterilizing. Talk to your vet office on their spay and neuter recommendation.

STEP 6: WAIT FOR PUPPY!!
And now you wait for your puppy!! Follow the IG page and private FB group to connect with us and the puppies. There are some other TO-DO things once your puppy has been selected (after 6 weeks old) but we will send out email updates regarding that.

Email and phone call is the best method of communication for any business type questions. The FB group is a great way to ask questions to fellow puppy owners. And IG is good for photos/videos/fun stuff.
